There are two categories of Marriage in Scotland: civil and religious. Inverlochy Castle Hotel has a civil marriage license, which allows registrars to marry you in the hotel in designated rooms. The civil ceremony takes around 15 minutes. You must apply to the registrar's office directly if you wish a civil ceremony. A religious ceremony is also available conducted by a minister from the Church of Scotland and we can book the minister.

A civil partnership ceremony can also take place at Inverlochy Castle. Again you must contact the registrar's office directly.

For all types of ceremony you must complete the legal preliminaries by lodging notice with the Fort William registrar, whom you are advised to contact in the first instance on (01397) 704583.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have an out-door ceremony; however, The Great Hall or The Drawing Room in the Castle are both ideal locations to hold your service. The fee is £350.00 for this use. A dance floor is also available for Exclusive Use weddings for an additional £275.00.

We are able to recommend a photographer and florist, we can also arrange musicians including a traditional Scottish Piper. If should you require any of these services, we are happy to arrange this for you.

The maximum number of wedding guests for dining is 80 persons on exclusive use of the Castle. We are happy to cater for smaller parties, with a private dining room for a maximum of 20 persons. We have 17 bedrooms in the Castle. We have the Gate Lodge, which comprises of one double room, a single room and a sofa bed.
